In Acts 6:1, we see a moment in early Christianity where there was a need in ministry. The Christian Elders appropriately appointed men “full of the Spirit and wisdom”, and created the first seven Deacons.
Pastor Jeff covers Acts 5:12-42, where the assembly of Rabbis called the Sanhedrin once again arrests Peter and the Apostles and persecuted them for performing miracles and speaking about the “new life” in Jesus Christ.
Pastor Jeff returns and continues on in the book of Acts. We’re in Acts 5:1-11, where we encounter Ananias and Sapphira, who suffered serious consequences for lying to the Holy Spirit and were not completely faithful.
