In Acts 9:32-43, The Bible temporarily leaves the story of the Apostle Paul, and goes to Peter, the Disciple of Jesus. Peter was traveling to Lydda, and on his journey healed a few people, and raised someone from the dead. Are miracles something of the past, or should we expect miracles from God today?
For Easter Sunday, we continued into the book of Acts, and see the finalized moment’s of Stephen. It was through Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross and resurrection that gave power and authority to Stephen as he spoke his final words to the Sanhedrin. The same power and authority is alive in all Christians.
