Who Are We? What do we believe?

We believe in the God of the Bible. God created the world and all that is in it (Gen. 1&2). We separated ourselves from Him when we chose to disobey His will (Gen. 3). Now the only path to know Him again is found in Jesus (John 14:6 & Acts 4:12). God reveals himself to us in the Bible as God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit (Matt. 28:19-20). Although the word “Trinity” is not found in the scriptures, the revelation of God to us in three ways helps define our understanding. Jesus, God revealed in human form (Phil. 2:6-7, Hebrews 1:3, Rev. 5:6), paid the price for all the sins of all humanity for all time on the cross. Salvation is found only in knowing, confessing and following Him (1 Peter 3:18, Rom. 5:6-8, John 3:16, John 19:30, Hebrews 10:12, and many many more). The New Testament clearly teaches that those who desire to follow Jesus will be obedient to Him by being baptized. (Mark 1:9 and 1 Peter 2:21, Matt 28:19-20, Acts 2:38, 1 Peter 3:21) Our desire is to follow the scriptural model for both salvation and life.

We Believe the Bible is the inspired, written Word of God without error. It was given to us to know God, understand our sin, to remind us of our need for salvation which comes through Jesus alone, and instruct us on how we can follow and live for Jesus. We believe God’s Holy Word should be at the center of our personal and church lives. It is our rule for faith and practice through which all things are examined and understood.

What Denomination Are We?
We’re actually a “Non-Denominational” church, which simply means we take the Holy Bible as it is. We don’t believe the Church should have separations and factions within itself, just because there are some differences in opinions. If it’s in the Holy Bible, we believe it and live by it!
