What Does It Mean to Be a Member of Crossroads Christian Church?
At Crossroads Christian Church, we welcome everyone into our church family—whether you’re a first-time visitor, a regular attendee, or someone looking to take the next step in your faith journey. While all are encouraged to worship, serve, and grow with us, official church membership is a commitment to actively support and uphold the mission of our church in a deeper way.
Member vs. Regular Attendee—What’s the Difference?
Anyone who attends our services is part of our church community, but becoming a member signifies a greater level of involvement and responsibility. Official members:

Publicly commit to the beliefs and mission of Crossroads Christian Church.

Have a voice in major church decisions, including leadership selections and significant ministry initiatives.

Are eligible to serve in leadership positions within the church.

Are invited to member-specific meetings and opportunities for spiritual growth.
Regular attendees are always welcome to participate in worship, events, and service opportunities, but membership is for those who feel called to make Crossroads their spiritual home and take on a more active role in our church’s future.
HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER
If you’re ready to take the step toward membership, here’s what’s required:

Faith in Jesus Christ – Membership is open to those who have placed their trust in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

Baptism – We ask that members be baptized by immersion, following the example of Christ and the teaching of Scripture.

Regular Church Attendance – Membership is for those who are actively engaged in worship and fellowship at Crossroads.

Commitment to Biblical Living – Members strive to live in accordance with biblical principles and uphold the values of our church.

Agreement with Our Statement of Faith – Members affirm the core beliefs of Crossroads Christian Church, and are living in accordance with the Crossroads Bylaws (see link below).

Completion of the Membership Application – The application helps us get to know you and ensures that membership is the right step for you. All applications are reviewed for approval by the Pastoral team and the Elders.
